....hello all....I was in my local MZ today....I was sorely tempted by this kit......the weapons with it are great....has anyone made this kit? Is it a re-boxing of anyone else's kit? Seemed great value at £9.99 from over £20.....not really into 1/48 but as this is as cheap/cheaper than some of the 1/72 kits I get I am sorely tempted....many thanks in advance for any info.......H
It's Revell's own kit and is the dog's danglies. One of the nicest kits out there. The moulds were made for Revell by ACE of Korea, who also did Revell's 1/48 Strike Eagle and Sabre Dog. Perhaps the only downside is that it has no intake trunking to speak of.
Oh bugger..!!! I thought as much...great price as well at £9.99......I must resist.....but it's a sweat lookin plane.....what would I do with it?? Won't fit in with my Maltese Air Sefence Force.....wouldn't make it as a French a/c......did see an article in a mag once bout NZ replacing their A4's with it.....bugger! Thinking now......Canadian Navy maybe.....? Maybe Israeli.....? Argentine navy for the Falklands round 2...?
Looks nice built too

Seeing as it looks like we'll be sharing our new carriers withthe French, why not do it in an FAA scheme? Ya never know it might be a forerunner of things to come.
You must "resist"? What is this word, "resist"? I don't think that's the way to increase your stash to ridiculous levels now, is it?
Resistance, as the wise Borg say, is futile.
P.S. Did you mention "Canadian Navy"????
Mmmmm....if I got one (read....when I get one.....) I would prob lean to an Israeli one.....I take it the plane can be launched and recovered from US carriers....?
JHM....yes I did.....as 1/48 is not really my scale I would have to purchase a set of decals for it....I think its a toss up between Argentine navy/Israeli...........just have to look for a suitable sheet with markings.....
