Title: Clear flight stands, 5 (or so) for a buck.
Post by: proditor on May 18, 2010, 07:12:54 PM
I discovered this while I was working on my two winged battleships.  They both came with old school display bases, and a hole in the hull, but I needed a clear "flight" stand.  So what I did was dead simple.  I went out and got one of those acrylic wands you use to turn venetian blinds to tilt them one way or the other.  It's about 3 feet long, it cost me 2 bucks US, and it'll yield probably 10 stands by the time I'm done.

Here's a close up of it going into one of my ships:

Just the wand to turn a blind.  Dead simple, dead cheap.
