This months (April) Scale Aircraft Modelling International has two WIF builds in it. North American F-107 Super Sabre and Chance Vought F8U-3 Crusader III, both as Wild Weasels

It's a complete build article Martin, with some nice use of "traditional Allan Hall type" conversation techniques to convert both to twin seaters.

Both by Tony Grand. The whole article is written on the premise that the F.107 was selected over the F.105 and the Crusader III over the Phantom. There's a nice bit where he questions why there are so many kits of "conjectural" models the 105 and Phantom and only 1 of the 107 and Crusader III  ;D

Have to remember it's the April issue. On which subject I'm still trying to figure how much of Steve Palmers "American Patrol" column is factual and how much leg pull ? Obviously some of the photo's are fake, but I'm not to sure about all of the column ?  ;D
