In the real world Westlands produced 13 Lynx prototypes.
In my world they (Westlands) also produced a prototype for the R.A.F Lynx H.T.1.
This Lynx ,XX152 appeared in public just once at the 1974 SBAC show, just before the R.A.F order is cut and it then became another of the A.A.C prototypes.
Here's what it may have looked like.
All C+C welcome.
That is a very nice clean build there, and the lynx suits those colours to a tee
Chris.
Nice model, Bacofoil.
In the real world the Lynx HT.3 was proposed, planned (and I think ordered), but subsequently cancelled. Don't believe the Wikipedia page regarding the HT.1! especially as the page contradicts itself!!
;D ;D
very nice .....thats an execptionally clean build...bravo
Top-shelf work there. Kudos!!
Simple, believable, and sure to confound the cognoscenti!
Love it, top class
Very smart Lynx
That's very smart - I like these "nearly-really" prototypes, not least because they are prime JMN-folling fodder: nice one!
That's lovely. Hobby Boss Kit?

That's lovely. Hobby Boss Kit?
Probably Revell boxing of Matchbox one
Ah, I'd forgotten about that one. I remember eyeing that in a news agents window for ages as a kid & when I finally saved my pocket money to buy it, it had gone!
Beautiful!
Aye it does look rather good, kind of shame that Hobbyboss havent seen fit to produce the Army variants as would be nice to see later in service types ;D
Looks really nice in those colours
Really smart looking model you have there.
Thanks for the C+C guys. The kit is the Matchbox orginal from way back.Had it in my stash, half built, for ages and then suddenly had the urge to finish it.Shame the real thing never made it!
Super clean...any tips you could provide on how you mask windows on 1:72 helos would be greatly appreciated. I'm always afraid I'll ruin the clear parts on helicopters so I haven't built many.
So that's why we're still waiting on the WUH.... ;) ;) ;)
