Title: Help wanted with a purchase from US EvilBay
Post by: Bungle on November 24, 2009, 05:43:23 AM

Gentlemen of North America,

I am interested in getting a particular kit from an auction on ebay.com but unfortunately the seller will only sell to a US customer. I am in the UK ! Currently there are no bidders and as it is an obscure British limited run kit it may not attract any bids at all. The seller will not allow me to bid so... I was wondering if there is any good soul out there who would care to bid on my behalf, take delivery and forward it on to the UK. All at my expense, of course, including Paypal fees and any handling fee you may wish to add.

There are a few problems to consider.... the seller wants a quick payment.  Currently the opening bid is $12.00 and postage within the US is $7.40 and I would need to pay 'my agent' by Paypal so it would mean 'my agent' having to make the initial payment to the seller.

The kit is small and the auction ends on 28th November at 19:51 PST. Hopefully it would be trouble free.

Reminds me of an AMT B-52 with X-15 I wanted from Kingkit but they wouldn't sell it to me as it was UK only (postage costs I think).  But I got it anyway, my brother over there got it for me  ;D ;D
