Title: He219 1936 to the last years of WWII
Post by: Optimist on April 04, 2009, 12:41:45 PM
Currently I try myself in CAD - script programming to generate NC Code for hot wire cutting out of 3D objects.
For to do some debugging  on the software, I chose the HE219 "UHU" - nightfighter as a building project. Although the software is rather raw and far away from being finished, it worked really fine on that bird...

The cowlings are still left to be finished, but currently I 'm waiting for the motors

Some data ... 120cm WS
250 Gram empty weight
<800Gram AUW
2 brushless motors with about 400 watts max power consumption ( over all)

Uh-oh.  I'm getting only the dreaded blue question mark. (or dreaded red x for those condemned to Microsoft products  ;D)

Anything He-219 based has gotta be good.
