Title: "Sealander"
Post by: Glenn on February 01, 2004, 12:40:59 AM
After the 'fiasco' called The Battle of Britain, the Me-110 "Destroyer" proved a disapointment to the Luftwaffe as an un-escorted heavy fighter.  Other positions became available for this aircraft, most became Night Fighters, (finally finding their element) but a handfull were taken over by the KM and used as floatplane escorts and torpedo bombers.

Models              Me-110 Crown 1/144th sc. (floats from a 1/144 Crown 'Jake'
                       floatplane.
Service             Norway to southern French coast, and The Med.
Years of survice 1941~1945
None survived after 1950. Used by the Greek Navy 1945~1948

To Zuid99, the background is from a calendar, 'Sydney from above' 2004, and the view is 'Manly Beach and North Head'. All I did was to remove the wash from the boats, and add trees to the homes behind the aircraft.
