One advantage of growing up and Air Force brat in the US is I got to visit many bases and peruse their libraries.
Problem is there were lots of good books I can't find anymore.
Case in point,
when I was about 11, Dad was stationed in Duluth (think that makes me an honorary Canadian) and there was a book about the Battle of Britain at the library. This one had several cartoons in it with my favorite being one where a bloke is giving directions based on the locations of downed German aircraft " turn left at the Me-109, right at the He-111 and just past the Stuka".
Would love to pick up a copy of this one but can't remember title, author, etc so hoping one of you has a copy or knows the title.
Wow,
43 looks and no one has any ideas.
This isn't looking good. :banghead:
It sounds vaguely familiar. The Main Library in Old Town has some older WWII-stuff in their collection. I'll have a look Saturday when they re-open after the holiday. I'll let you know what I turn up.

Any Luck?
I recall the cartoon, but I can't remember where I saw it. I'll have a look through my stuff, and see if it's in there someplace.
