Build a Giant Monster. Build a defense force maser. Build an alien attacker!
Mine the rich and sometimes goofy history of Kaiju movies to make a city stomping or defending entry!
Need some inspiration? Music is here, but the site is pretty good: http://www.kaijuhq.org/index2.html
Cool idea. I might have to run to my local Wal-Mart and see if they still have any of the Lindberg dino kit repops.
Jon
Reading my mind...just picked up another dino kit with the thought...
Hmmm...
I seem to have a knack for suggesting GB's that excite like 3 people. ;D
I don't care. I have my kit. I have my inspiration. Let's Rock !

Greg,
No fair posting that pic again (what is it that you do again?).
Uh, not complaining, just waiting for a couple different shots.
well, I can't post too many of them, due to the no nudity stuff on the net. How about some humor?

There's some 'what if' Handley Page Victors at the beginning of Gamera the Invincible, if I could get decent stills I would love to have a go at them.

Thanks! I saw it on TV a few years ago under the title I named, but doing some research on the net leads me to believe that it may have some different spellings or even different titles depending upon when and/or where it was released to the world.
Or should that word 'released' be changed to 'inflicted'? ;D

That looks weird, those pylons are so large it'd have negative ground clearance IMO...
Oooh yeah! There's a few ways to get around the ground clearance problem; Extend the gear (ugly and lots of work), have the pylons and attached ordnance pods fold up under the wings on take-off and landing, or, to be even more exotic, launch them on rails like some missiles, a Snark for instance:
I don't think the fold-up idea would work, those pods look to big to clear even if they did.
Now, try finding a cheap Victor to work with. I suspect they're the old Lincoln International models which are as rare as hen's teeth nowadays. It's obviously a B.1, an early mark without the avionics cooling intake at the base of the fin, and I think the Lincoln mold was the only one like that.
Great looking Victor.
I like dinosaurs.
Revell also just (re) released those old dinosaur kits in 1/13th. A little scale-o-rama, some putty, and it's off to the races!
I've kinda been eyeing this guy: http://www.revell.com/catalog/products/Ankylosaurus-936-39.html
I'm thinking a Gamera homage.
Lindberg also did a Victor in 1/96th, last released in the early 'nineties. I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with the Lincoln
kit, but I assume its a UK brand?
The Big underwing pods could be VTOL pods ala' the Do 31 VTOL transport, with all the doors closed

Don't know, they've been out of production for nigh on forty years or so. Their Victor was very simple, 13 parts including the two-piece stand.

Mmmm. Well, after giving it all of five minutes thought, I think I'll start on TERROR OF MECHA-GAMERA this
weekend.
As much as I like everyone's work this is my favorite thread ever. ;D
