hi all
...what to do with a free fuselage and the wings from a grace kit?...
I wnated build the grace with folded wings and ordered these parts from Faller(german hasegawa importeur).after some time I ordered the fuselage...dont know more why...
it costs 3-5 euro only...
one day I was thinking what to do and tested the fitting of a mossie(airfix) engine nacelle and found the idea good...
after some hours I have now this "thing" in my hands...it looks not bad and more smoth than the oryginal grace design...if better? :)
wanted build it now as a german grace build under licence for the german carrier units....
ordered the other parts yesterday...we will see...when it comes...
hope you like it...
Looks sleek yet "busy" -----I like it.
Do you draw out these concepts first or just start cutting plastic and putting actual parts together to see how they will look together?
Interesting - that nose is something to behold. It really demands an emblem like that of I/StG 1:

Smooth. Really smooth.
The lines look like they were meant for it.
And the very effective way you managed to blend the upper scoop.

Im rather a "parts checker" as a thinker...
it must look nice in my peepers...then its worth to invest some time...
Im not satysfied with the spinner but I made two (3/4 bladed) and the pointed type looks something better...its moulded/casted from the Airfix Mossie spinner.
Im thinking about a contra rotating prop but then looks the nose something long...
in my head are diverse gates they keeps me from some implausible ideas...
when I see here on the site some very good ideas and builds so Im stunning but Im not able to comprehend these ideas for me...
sometimes Im thinking Im simple cramped and analfixed in some aspects... :banghead:
but hey!...nobody is everybodys darling :)
best regards
It is just beautiful
