Wow, is that ever a nice model ! Must've taken years to build that thing. Superb detail, and I had no idea it had that many guns !

Kinda sad when you look at all the engineering and work that went into a real battleship, with the sole purpose to go out and get blown to smithereens !

Honestly, whatever your views on WWII combatants, you must admit that the YAMATO-class battleship was more aesthetically pleasing than the IOWA-class.  Okay, that is my own mental imbalance. B)

My only nitpick is the ASROC - not much use on a ship without sonar. Other than that it's a fine job of an upgrade.

My favorite whiff Yamato is a  TBO-verse Yamato, firing 18-inch nuclear shells...
