Ah, you are better informed than the magazine then  it is still undicided when the magazine was printed
Looks like I'm goin shoppin!
Cant believe the AF is going for more C-130Js after they canceled their order (and paid the boucudles $$$ for the termination fees <_< )

A lot of that news is repeated in the new Combat Aircraft. I don't have the mag in front of me to refer to, but I remember reading that the USAF is retiring the last of its UH-1N Huey helicopters, operated in support of the ICBM silos. They're launching a program to acquire a Common Vertical Lift Support Aircraft later this year. They're expecting bids from Bell, Agusta, Sikorsky and Lockheed Martin (since when do they build helicopters?).
QuoteLockheed Martin (since when do they build helicopters?).
Well they are the prime for the VH-71 (i.e. the US EH-101)
Regards,
Greg
What were the new Israeli colours that are now not to be adopted?

They arent, the marines are  ;)
This magazine is definitely behind the times. The KC-X competition is not a one horse race, rather only rumours of it going that way were in mid January when Northup-Grumman was making noises about not getting their way with the RFP.
