Title: Matte Varnish at lower price!
Post by: PolluxDeltaSeven on November 06, 2006, 08:49:07 AM
hello folks!

Three days ago, I went into a Graphic Arts shop in order to buy a new brush for my OA-37 painting. While I was just looking in the shop, I found a little bottle of acrylic varnish...

I just try it, and it is perfect!! Diluted with water and some Klir/Future (because it is really really Matte!!) and apply by hand brush, it looks as good as a airbrush Tamyia varnish, for example!!

Moreover, it is less expensive than a special model varnish while it is as adapted. Some low cost Future/Klir varnish could be add in order to have a less Matte varnish, it just smells better than a modeler varnish and, as it was also created to use it at Art Schools, it is far less toxic!!

The price is around 8 to 10 euros for 250ml (compared to 1,5 or 2euros for 12 to 15ml enamel varnish!)...

Well, if you can find it, I really recommend it to you!
