Yikes, though! $30.95 Cdn?!?!     :o

Going to hang any cool camo-netting, etc. on it?

Yeah, got it from the LHS. Got another one in my stash for $20 US.

Oh yeah. Camo netting, MILAN launcher cribbed from a Marder 1A3 kit, M2 replacing the 7.62mm commander's gun, new sights, actual side skirts (again from the Marder), cargo piled all over, filthy dirty, all the good stuff. It'll be a typical scout. I always enjoy doing armour and I figure it's been a while since I did some.

Hey Rally, I've got a 1/72 version I picked up that I had earmarked for either my Mars defense or a hover tank or both :)

Of course mine is still on my to do list but it is a cool piece of armor completely worthy of relieving you of your aircraft duties  ;)

Update the First!

Got the Commander's cupola figured out last night, and pretty much assembled:

The lighter green stuff is from the origianl kit, the dark green is from the Tamiya Marder 1A3. I decided to do this one "hatches open" Now I have to dig through my stash for some crew.

There's a "build" article in a recent IPMS(UK) Mag I can scan if you want. It's by John Tapsell and he built it as a British Army one on trials. Interior (it's his thing!) and he alterred the suspension to tip it up a bit. Looks great. The article's got lots of "before/after" photos showing the mods he's made.

My 1/35th "S" tank will be Israeli and Crusader as I've a couple in the stash.

I look forward to these. :tank:  :tank:  :tank:  :tank:
