Title: Aircraft company 'House Colours'
Post by: TsrJoe on August 31, 2006, 05:00:08 AM
Hi there, i was wondering if anyone out there had any information on various aviation company 'House Colours'? eg. Scottish Aviation's use of 'orange', Hawker's 'pale green', Folland with 'Nordic blue' etc.

I have modelled a number of civilian design projects and am thinking it would be neat to add trim/cheat lines etc. in the appropriate colour to their manufacturer...eg, Handley Page, English Electric, etc.

cheers, Joe

*chuckle* There's always that TAV-8B+ and AV8B demonstrators in Boeing houses colors of the late 1990s that I and another guy did for the Harrier SIG.   Boeing Blue underside, gloss white upper surfaces and some Boeing red pinstripes at the interface.
