Somehow i have a vision of Mrs. Merkel standing up in the rear of the 2nd G Wagen while being driven through the Brandenburg Gate................
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I can picture our current defence minister, reichsfuhrer kartoffelkopf, in the original version.

I can picture a recent former president standing in either.

Peugeot built an unarmoured off-road vehicle for military use, based on the G.

We had quite a lot of them during my Government/UN temp job in Lebanon, in 1991. Handy little "jeeps" but a bit underpowered when you wanted to go up and down significant slopes with a bit of load.

Wikipedia photo has a French one in 2005:

Nice.  I've got 1/24 & 1/72 ICM G4s.  This gives me ideas...
