What colour were RAF/RN FAA cockpits in 1945?

Knightflyer:
From what has commented on here when I got it wrong  ;D Interior Green for most of them BUT Hawker had started using black

Rheged:
Don't know if it's true or just another fiction, but I had heard that the Wilkes brothers at Rover bought up huge quantities of surplus RAF interior green in 1948  and used it as the default colour for the first Landrover.   Nice story, accurate or not.

rickshaw:
Thanks, all.  Interesting story about the Landrover colour.

I have seen the prototype, and yes IIRC that's correct.  Wasn't just surplus interior green that was bought up, either - not just Rover, either.
