With two turbojets the wings do look a lot longer.

longer wings will receive clapping hands from our friend PR19_Kit ;)
But storage of huge wing is never easy... :-\

The state of my whole house would attest to that!
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Thanks Guys,  there seems to be a gap between the Lockheed Neptune used for the AEW role and the Avro Shackleton AEW.2 flown by the Royal Air Force.
Both painted in blue/grey or do I go with the Grumman E‐1A or Lockheed EC-121 Warning Star colour scheme?

Tophe

Sorry I cannot help with colours, I am just enjoying shapes, new shapes, inventions in this field. Like you do, thanks.
Many other modellers are specialist about colours and markings, I hope you will get answers from them. <_<

The USAF 'Assembly Aircraft ' bomber colour schemes from WWII looks promising.

I just had a vision of the wing tip fins migrating to form a "V" tail ;)

Another raid in spares boxes wouldn't hurt.

Another good "improvement" (change); congratulations!

Like this and I'm not moving them again!

Another side view. The Avro Lancaster nose really improves the Stirling fuselage.
