The result of this GB is of course unknown till the very last day but my feeling here is a song of Don Williams:

(to be confirmed when the model is completed, of course)

Well let's not jump ahead too much, I still have to paint the darn thing!

Painted some weapons today. Is there a good generic thinner for enamels? Some of mine are getting thick in the jar and go on a little goopy. It's either that or I need new paints all the time. I've tried lacquer thinner but the paint seems to go bad soon after. Maybe mineral spirits?

White Spirits if I remember correctly.

With enamels I use turps for thinning & cleaning brushes.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

For Humbrols, I've found that generic white spirit won't work. It just dissipates, leaving the paint as it was very quickly, and worse - it does the same on the brush even quicker, so you'll have problems painting. White spirit will work nicely for cleaning brushes though.

For thinning, I've resorted to Humbrols own thinner. Dead expensive, but as I use rather small amounts, it last a good time.

Exactly what I do with the little enamels I use
Decals my @r$e!

I got the weapons to look acceptable and added some decals. Much better now.
