I dunno, the concept of a wrong way round Mistletoe intrigues me.  Now why would it be made that way?

I have in 1/72 a BoB Spitfire that needs finishing as does my Lancaster Mk 40. I also have a 1/48 a TSR2 with all the trimmings to build with a detachable fin so that it can be shipped to Sweden for a friend of mine.
There are loads more but these three are the top of my currant list.

I started to build the 1/72 Revell Lockheed P-3C with Airfix BAe Nimrod wings. As I have used the wings and engines on one of the Academy C-97s.
However the resin parts from the BAe Nimrod AEW conversion kit fit the Orion tail section. I've cut the vertical tail and plan reshaping it to fit the rear tail cone. As there isn't a great deal of detail seen in the P-3C cockpit the resin nose will be cut to fit. The metal landing gear for the Airfix will be used as the nosewheel leg is flimsy at the best of times. Thinking of calling the build the Lockheed EP-3 Dormin and coming up with a prototype colour scheme.

The Fairchild/Nord Phoenix air cushion landing system. Is basically the twin boom of the 1/72 AC-119G fixed to a C-130 fuselage with the vertical tail fin cut off. The upper door glued on at a different angle (sort of Argosy style). An air cushion from the Airfix 1/144 Hoverspeed Hovercraft kit cut and made to fit the under side of the fuselage. Thinking along the lines of the MC-130 TALON or US Coast Guard, SAR or even COD. Has two resin T-64 turboprops and two jet auxiliary engines. I need to raid my spares box for ducts and bumps.

Better think of a different designation McColm as the EP-3 is already in use http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockheed_EP-3

Seen the EP-3 that's why I thought of the alternative layout.

At the Cradle of Aviation Museum archives and American Airpower Museum located in the original Republic hangers in Long Island are a number of unknown Republic vertical flight designs.
Ideal for kitbashing a Harrier & F-111. Another concept looks like a Tu-22M Backfire-C with three lifting engines aft of the cockpit..
The Grumman G-118 looks like the the North American A-5 with a T-tail, with the cockpit pushed into the gap between the engine air intakes. The rear cockpit has a clear canopy.
The Republic NP-50, is a similar layout to the B-47 apart from the engines. Could use the two engines off the B-58 fitted to the wings. There is a wooden 1/50 model in the Cradle of Aviation Museum.
The North American FSW P-51 with a jet engine mounted in the lower rear fuselage. Could work on any WWII fighter.
Boeing MX.1712 bomber.

Metcalf do low relief shop fronts P0273 and arcade shop fronts P0572 in Ho/00 scale. Seen that Wills provide windows and doors. I will still use SuperQuick kits and just alter them. Got the old London Road terminus from Hornby and a pair of platform 9 3/4 arches. I'll rig some lighting up to get the right effect.

Seen the Chinese Hercules Y-8 developed from the An-12. The ECM ,ASW and AEW versions look as though they could be Whiffed on to the C-130 and C-160 if you don't have the Roden or Amodel kits in your stash.
The Y-8J has the British Skymaster for airborne early warning AEW and the radome looks like the EC-18 ARIA .David J.Parkins do a resin conversion. The Y-8W/Y-8GX-5 or KJ-200 has a similar phased-array ESA type Swedish Ericsson Erieye. Mounted on inverted V struts above the fuselage. The balance beam reminds me of the resin E-8C JSTARS pod also available at FlightPath, David JParkins.
The Y-8FQ/Y-8GX-6 looks as though the radome off the Lockheed P-3 Orion has been added to the front underside. Could create a ASW version.
The ZDK-03 Karakoram Eagle has a E-2 Hawkeye rotodome and tail tip fins.

Starting again from scratch, nothing bought yet.
Still sticking to the Rat Rod - Revell Austin FX4 or  Ford Thames Panel van.
Doormobile based on an estate/station wagon and hatchback with detachable pod.
European cars, if I can buy back the ones I sold to KitKrazy.

The 1:32 Teracruzer with missile, price is a bit steep at 49.99. Reminds me of a Tonka truck I used to have . There is a whiff in there.

Mach2 Grumman E-1B in 1/72 , change the engines to contra-prop. If possible get hold of the Hasegawa Tracker.
Mach2 Super Frelon possible AEW .
Sea Hog x2 two seater.

Bristol Brittaina in the style of the iL-38N May ASW.
Sticking to the C-97 AEW & C and B-29 MR.
Connie tanker.
EF-117A and Typhoon-Growler.
Airfix Valiant ASW.
Fixed wing Tornado photo recon.

Started playing with a 1/72 Academy F-104 G today.  I've got replacement wings and horizontal tail sorted but need to find something different for the nose.  I fancy it being long and pointy like an X-3 Stiletto.  Maybe I'll turn something on my lathe out of aluminium.

A Mirage F1 nose maybe?
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Currently giving a Fairey Battle a bit of rhinoplasty.  Having seen some of the Battle's engine test bed photographs I'm thinking twin merlin like a Gannet, counter rotating props, lose a crew member, maybe a gun turret night fighter.

Also got a Percival Pembroke that I may be turning in to an AEW machine, might even crown it with a radome as the UK homage to the Hawkeye.

I've also come across a vacuform B-17A fuselage and a revell 'Memphis Belle'. The vacuform has little detail and I have some 1/72 Air Lebanon decals (for the Comet 4C) lurking around. Could be a solid nose Boeing B-17 airliner la Lancastrian stylie.

North American A-25 Light Attack Aircraft using the Airfix B-25 Mitchell nose/tail/wings/fuselage combined with the engines/undercarriage/bomb bay & ordnance from the Italeri A-26K Invader. I plan to use the solid nose from the B-25 with a 20mm Vulcan cannon installed.

BAC/Dassault Mirage IVS (Spey engined alternative to TSR 2). Heller Mirage IV (1/48) combined with R R Spey exhausts & forward fuselage/cockpit salvaged from a 1/48 Revell Phantom FGR 2.
