Looks great, but would you want a fighter that big? (Mig-25/33 size)

Well, there was a naval interceptor version that made it to prototype, the F-111B.  Carlos has scalorama'd a 1/144 to 1/72 though, making it about 11m, a similiar size to early jets.

The scheme was taken from 2nd YF-16 prototype

Nice choice, something a bit different than a stanard USAF scheme.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

... making it about 11m, a similiar size to early jets.
Not exactly, there is a plug-in in cockpit area (3 cm long approx) that makes this YF-115 closer to F-5, which means almost 14 m (F-5 length is 14.45).

Speaking about scheme: I DO love that air superiority blue.

BTW: Thanks, to all of you, for your kind words.

Very cool build YSI, I wouldn't mind a couple of these for my US Marines builds.

Great model Carlos, you've got my vote mate! Looks really good in that YF-16 scheme. Wanted to to do my prototype YF-16 kit in that scheme when I was little but getting a good White base coat terrified me back then!
