I must admit one of the current contenders does confuse me a tad. I can understand how we can define one part of the rules, but I can't work out a way of defining t'other

For once I'm glad that so much of my stash is made up of Old Kits and Bad Kits. I'll have a reason to start another this year  ;D

I've been told that one of my stashed kits is the epitome of a Bad Kit - it's the old Robotech Trigon.  I've had it now for at least 10 years ... This might be its outing!  :)
I try to learn from the mistakes of others who take my advice.

Old Kit/Bad Kit?

Iím wondering how we would define ďbad kitĒ.  Iíve read plenty of reviews calling a kit absolute crap when Iíve built it and thought it was just fine.  The reverse is true also.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

Given that I haven't built anything for ages (illness/mojo), I debated whether I should vote at all. However, there are a bunch of suggestions that nicely fit projects already on my list, so I have done now, on the basis that one or more of those is likely to get me building again.

"Bad" could also mean that while fit etc is fine and it is a joy to build there is a glaring inaccuracy that renders it bad in JMN's eyes.

But that's immaterial for now as the vote is still ongoing.

Guilty as charged, Iím afraid. I had to convince myself to vote as I honestly am rather unlikely to actually build anything within the given time frame anyway.
But weíll see. Iím assuming one of those MACH2 kits will fit the ďbad/old kitĒ category.  ;)

No need to feel bad, Pellson! I voted in both rounds & the chances of me entering a GB are very, very, extremely slim, as the next 12 months, probably more, will be dedicated to building what I want to build when I want to build it.

If something I was about to build lined up with an upcoming GB, there's the possibility I would delay its start to coincide with the GB but, with the voting going as it is, it's pretty-much guaranteed that I won't be entering any GB's over the next season.

Still, I voted. Just in case!

PS: Fred - I did! ;D
