Toad, you have insert the link like this:

Add Reply, type your message until you want to include a link.
Click on the HTTP button above the message, paste your link into the little pop-up box and click enter.
Then type a short description of the link (i.e. Veteran Memory Project) and press enter.
Then finish typing your message, check it's all OK and press Add Reply.
Hey Presto! You should now have a working link in your message!
