Started on Thursday with the F86 conversion. Got a very cheap kit from a magazine, made in turkey on lowest technical standards , and came with turkish decals only .   The kit is amazing simple and nothing fits together like it should.  I got it from a bunch of kits each for 1€  .

One day before I started with the concept drawing, and it seems that i nearly use only original parts from the kit !

The cockpit will be moved backwards like a dragster, original cockpit is closed ,  keeping a very long nose ....
The wings were turned around and also moved to the tail , changed also into middle ( from low wings ) .
Tailwings moved upwards for T style  .

Knowing that Color will need time for me i start with speed, easy to do with that 5 important parts of the stoneage kit .

After 4 hours the fuselage is together, cockpit is changed, putty is on , nose is fixed,  original wing place is closed, and the giant panel lines are sanded down for a smooth surface. Those lines were made like letters for blind people,  1/2 mm high or so .

I need to wait till the body is shaped ready before gluing the wings on , cause that will be better to work on .

Pictures coming soon .

With the forward sweep and rear cockpit this is looking like something that would be at home in A Galaxy Far Far Away. Might want or keep this idea going in case a Star Wars Group Build makes it through the polling for next year.

Looking forward to watching this one develop!! Very creative.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

This looks interesting! That kit does look like a challenge.  Carry On!

Thank you a lot , this kit is a joke .
But it could be a part of another contest, that ,, use only the parts in the box" contest,
because I have used only the sprues and the plates that were included to close the holes and create the upper shape .

If I should build the gear out it will become a tailsitter .

I fixed wings on,  need the whole thing for primer this evening i hope ...

Just two days ago one machine in my wifes laboratory broke down, should spend some hours for a field repair to safe the mega expensive work , our specialist lays in Bed with heavy covid.

But this is Weekend time , now just take a walk to the next store and catch some fine sanding paper , glad to live in the Industrial Area,  with the greatest home work shop in town in sight ...

Just 20 hours from beginning, and it is nearly complete ... I like every new project !!

The fine surface is not absolut perfect, but i think it is okay for me .
The new sanding paper works fine !

Remember please that i start modell build three months ago after a 40 year break , need much more time for Training .

Time to design the colors i think .

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .
