DH Comet 4FF FINISHED!

At the last second I decided to whiff it. The FF stands for FastFreight, and was one of the first jet cargo aircraft in the world my warped universe. Base kit is the Airfix Comet 4 B, which has been languishing as a real world build for over 20 years. Too late to do an interior, so I may not have the swing-tail fully open. Port side cargo door will not be opened, just an engraved outline.

Thanks. Now, wouldn't it look even cooler in RCAF Transport colours? If I can find another kit I just may do that.  ;D

If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I had the Comet racer model as a kid and like every plane I built then..I put guns on it  ;D .
I've loved twins even when I was a little dude. :thumbsup:

I'd like to do a comet racer again ..in 48th..with a couple of merlins stuck on it and build either a combat prototype or a super fast race plane ..not sure if anyone does a 48th Comet racer tho but ya never know.

Managed to add some interior, just so that the opening doesn't look bare. Still some paint touch-up to do. Random unreadable spare stencil on rear pressure bulkhead. Door leads to storage area.
