Fokker D-30

What if.......Fokker developed the D-23 into a jet fighter. It must have had a RR Nene for engine and a circular intake like the Fokker S-14. The lay-out in general was much like the Dehavilland Vampire but with the wings and tailbooms of the D-23. This is what you get..

The front is a meteor ( small diameter) intake glued to a 1/48 droptank of an unidentified object. The wings tailbooms etc. were taken from a resin kit I acquired cheap at the ESM 2022 show and is actually one part....canopy is a Sukhoi Su-15 part from PM kit.

Somehow the intake looks a little weird in the pictures. I'll post new pictures later.

Tophe, you're correct. Due to activities for the employer, it's progress is slowed down, not stopped. During Christmas I'll pick it up again and hope to plan to finish it.
