IL-28 1/72 from Trumpeter.
Tail, rudder and ailerons made from scratch. The original ones were "too modern"
Clear canopy for the remote turret gunner made from a plastic googly eye.
Custom decal sheet, printed at job.

The idea was to make the big brother of the Ar-234 in a disytopic WWII where Hydra exists.
Hope you like it.

I like it, particularly the nose section. Very Germanic to my eyes.

And it also looks pretty 'Arado-like' as well.

Is that where Comrade Ilyushin got his ideas from?

Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The tail, apart from looking less modern, looks more "Germanic", while, to me, the nose still has that 1950's Soviet look but works for late-WW2 German, as well.

Good job!

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

The one thing which would give the game away is that tail turret..i had a model of this plane donkeys yrs ago but dude everything else is great and whats really cool is the turret looks just right for the rest of the plane and the new tail ties the butt together
Freakin love the new nose. ;)
If it aint broke ,,fix it until it is .
Over kill is often very understated .
I know the voices in my head ain't real but they do come up with some great ideas.
Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Excellent work.  The asymmetric paint job is great.
The Il-28 is an underwhiffed aircraft.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Good job - to be honest, I'm not a fan of the red engine & marking, but that's just me... the model looks great, and a convincing development.
