Hi all,
This original 1971 boxing of the 141 came in a care package from a forumite early last year. Everything was there aside from the tail strut, decals (a Revell Stuka sheet was in there) and instructions, Scalemates to the rescue for the latter!

Just a bit of fun and it was - no filling, no sanding, the trickiest part was going through my decal spares.

And in case you're wondering about the codes: I did a stint as a radio announcer when I was in my teens and I love Burger King  ;D

Over kill is often very understated .

Theres few of lifes problems that can't be solved with the proper application of a high explosive projectile .

Looks pretty good for its age, despite rivets galore.

Very asymmetric models are always pleasant to see: weird and that is good, bringing attention from non specialists in the family for instance ;)
[the word "realistic" hurts my heart...]

Always liked the look of the 141 and that build does it justice

1971?  Gosh I though it came out a couple or three years later.

I built one soon after it was originally released, weird machine, fun build.

Many thanks for taking me back to my early teens!

1971? That was the year my second daughter was born, she's the who's the RAF's best................ Oh, I told you about that before, did I?
