I honestly thought that none of the Burnelli designs had survived the years but it turns out I am mistaken. In Connecticut is the New England Air Museum who have in their large collection a Burnelli CBY-3.
It appears to have been undergoing restoration for several years now and it looks good

I see they leave the props off until the end of the build.  Just like we do.

Thanks for that Nick.  Interesting.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Shes looking good.

I would love to see this make it into kit form.......................resin or plastic im not fussy
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Something tells me Kit's probably not a big fan of this design...
Would be marching to the beat of his own drum, if he didn't detest marching to any drumbeat at all so much.

It's OK just for pure weirdness, but there's something missing...................
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

It does have wings.  I assume they will be reattached at some point of the restoration.

They should be longer..................

The Savoia is kind of turning into a long wing Burnelli seaplane.  ;D
