This is my mk2 Harrier  fighter/ interceptor,  this one is  done with the  esci sea harrier  frs1 . Nice kit but the outrigger gear  is too short. I  have done this  as on exercise in Norway, circa  1978, and is armed with  a  pair of early  model skyflash  missiles.

That fit would have been VERY handy in the Falklands!  ;D

Nice job Chris.

Thankyou everyone
I  started to  regret  painting the  harrier in this colour scheme  as the white  needed 5 coats to get it to  look something  similar.  It is a next step on from the GR1 I  converted and armed with  red top missiles.

Next time put the white on first, and use Halfords Appliance White. One spray coat does it.

I did the white  first  and gave it  24 hours to dry too. I  think I will have to  invest in some  appliance white though.

It's been the 'white of choice' for airliner modellers for many years, well worth the investment.
