Norton told me it had detected large amounts of suspicious outbound traffic from my system as I clicked it. Basically the Yahoo based website is asking for all sorts of info from your PC.
I ran a virus check and nothing was found.

The text is mainly a decent readable history of the aircraft and some artwork of the what-if schemes.

Thanks Martin: yes I found the Sharkit page about this plane/kit https://www.sharkit.com/sharkit/CXP/cxp.htm and this one seems safe, but for the History it directs also to the IRMA page, that produces 5 virus alarms...

BTW, apart from virus warnings, it's quite a flood we got from this new member, that's promoting his kits for sale.
We have a specific section for this, if his kits are whifs and not real planes (I am not knowledgeable enough to check).

They're not his kits, but he's certainly promoting a cooperative of resin producers, with prices that make the average CMR kit purchased at Hannants look like an absolute bargain.  For example, the Avro jetliner is nigh on 300 dollars (approx £250?) and that's BEFORE shipping yet the equivalent Magna Avro Ashton (similar size) sold for about £100.  Someone somewhere is raking off a lot of cash.

I can get an Anigrand VC10 in 72nd for less than the price of the Jetliner.  Or lets be really out there, a 48th Saro Princess for £250 (the 72nd one is under £150 and post free from Japan to the UK).  These people are rip off merchants.

And before someone bleats about the cost of resin, low production runs, blah blah fishcakes, having done my own casting and moulding, I know it's nowhere near as expensive as it's made out to be.  I'm sure Martin and TsrJoe will agree with me.

Actually, these are our kits. I worked with Sharkit to obtain the data for the kit creation of the Gloster CXP-1001 and Shenyang JJ-1, and a few kits with FanKit, mostly to promote interest and success for small resin companies and organizations. Later we started doing kits of our own. Pricing is to include full interiors for cockpits and passenger compartments. Our Jetliner sells for about the same price as the Anigrand Craftswork's Air Force One, save we also include seating and for those with experience, it can even be lit from the interior. We also have the world's most complete list of resin kit makers, and yes, it does need to be updated. We're getting to that.
