- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

You SHORTENED the wings?  :o :o :o :o

But as its a Penguin it won't be able to fly anyway, will it?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Yes Ratty.  It's the successor to your Frigatebird.
Westland's lawyer's court success forced Farley to switch their attentions to Gloster designs...

Todays progress.

I've been toying with the idea of a Hercules powered Gladiator for a while but there was always the small issue of the fact that engine, while having twice the power of the original Mercury also had twice the weight.  Moving the wings further forwards (whether two or four I hadn't decided) would have solved the resulting CoG issues but why not make it an autogyro?
Rattys Frigatebird provided just the jumping off point I needed.

One SINGLE helicopter blade ??  :o

I know he's gone autogyro, but there have been designs with a single blade and a counter-balance opposite.

As for this, I love the autogyro, so I'm looking forward to this result!
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

As far as I know a single-bladed prop is the most efficient ever designed.
