Perry Rhodan - Mosquito-Jet, December 2405

The vehicle:

The Mosquito-Jet was a huge milestone in the development of Terranian space fighters as it was the first vehicle of its kind with a FTL drive. Equipped with a Transform-Gun carrying three 20GT nuclear bombs and a so called "HÜ" force field, it was a huge improvement compared with older space fighters.
With a length of 26 meters and a crew of two, the Mosquito was significant bigger than previous fighters. The FTL drive had a range of approximate 100.000 light years and the jet was able to accelerate wiht 700km/s^2.

Soon the Mosquito-Jet got the backbone of Terranian space fighters and it was found on almost every base or in major space craft.

More info about this craft can be found in the Perrypedia (German) https://www.perrypedia.de/wiki/Moskito-Jet and in the cut-away  drawing  https://www.pr-materiequelle.de/riss/risszeichnung/r313.htm

The model shows a Mosquito-Jet and some older single seat fighters in a hangar on the planet Opposite in December 2405.

The model:

This is a 3D printed model in 1/250 scale. The 3D model was created by Heinz Schöck, some parts in the Hangar (missiles, tanks) are made designed by him as well. The Mosquito was printed with an Anycubic Photon SLA printer and painted with Revel Aqua Color. Decals are from the spare part box.
The Hangar was designed by me using Tinkercad and Printed on an Anycubic Mega FDM printer. It was airbrushed with Revel Aqua Color.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

This 3D printed stuff puts you in a class of one! I brings so many things that were previously impossible into the realms of the possible.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

It certainly does
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Captain Canada

The Revell kits? I have the SOL kit here and had build the Marco Polo in the past, but this was a quite bad kit to build.
