Right here's the rules for this years One Week Build. Same as last year so there shouldn't be a problem.

Chris

1.  Group Build runs from 00.01 Saturday 8th June 2019 to 24:00 Sunday 16th June 2019 (all GMT).

2)  Any subject, any scale - but must be a what if.  Profiles and stories also eligible.

3)  You may build, draw or write as many entries as you like (good luck!).  The posting of in-progress pictures is encouraged as always.  Back stories - however long or short - win extra points.  Well OK they don't but they're always nice to see.

4)  "Preparation" work is allowed prior to the start of the GB - this includes the cutting out and cleaning up of parts, even printing your own decals (!), but anything involving paint or glue is not allowed.

5)  Part-started models are not allowed - we are relying on the honour of our membership to uphold this rule.

6)  Moderator – Kitbasher (This year aided and abetted by me)

7) Shhhhhhhhh, never mention Rule 7 (or any other rule we deem to consider person non grata at the time of typing this)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I always though it was Rule 6 that was non memorando!?

It's become flexible over the last few years mainly because I couldn't remember which one it was a few years ago and screwed it  :banghead:

As long as we can all remember to mention that there's at least one rule that we're all supposed to forget and never mention, then the fact that the number of the rule that isn't there changes doesn't matter. Indeed it helps to hide it further by making unclear which unmentionable number applies to the rule.

Is it too late to ask for a two week extension?
(You knew someone would ask, sooner or later. I figured why wait.)  ;)

Guys on this side of the pond (the opposite of the British side), can somebody tell me what is the time difference between Ontario and GMT now? Is it 4 or 5 hours (with daylight saving)?

Gondor

I think it's five but I couldn't understand the time zone calculator I picked off the web  :banghead:

CANSO. Sorry my use of GMT has caused the confusion, but it's 24:00 Sunday 16th June local time. So whatever time zone you are in everyone gets the same amount of time.

I fully support the "where you are" time zone, with those Whiffers in Tonga getting to start first...

Thanks, Chris!
I wanted to visit an air show on Father's day (Sunday, the 16-th - Flyfest @ the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton - a reminder for everybody around) and wanted to be sure that I'll be back home before the end of the GB (GMT-time). But if it's midnight local time, it's fine.
Thank you for the clarification!
