Working on the ... pilot? Driver? Uhm... Piver?

His other arm will be attached in place at a later date, when I figure out what he's actually doing with that one. I'll come up with something.

Inserting a cassette in the 8-Track player perhaps?

I've just shown this device to a couple of military chaps who work down the road from me (at Stirling Lines,  Hereford).  Their two comments were:-

When do we get issued this , it looks like a bit of Gucci kit* and secondly

Where's the BV?**, we need our mugs of tea!

* the current military jargon for something worth having

** BV=Boiling Vessel.....a device built into British and, so I am told, Indian military vehicles for teamaking purposes

We call it Gucci gear, and for us in the DoD, it mean looks cool, is really expensive, and break at the most inopportune time.

Hahaha! That's brilliant, thanks for that!

You can tell them they need not worry, I'm working on it:

Scratchbuilding the kettle as I write this.

His other arm is in place, too. He's got it on top of one of the myriad of levers that seem to live there:

Still need to finish painting the
Drilot! ;D
and meanwhile i'm scavenging for bits and bobs to fill the Landie with.

Thanks again for taking a look!
