The 2019 calendar has, for one of the later months, a picture of a Concorde.  Does this mean a release is planned for next year?
A new mould is possible as there are some to scan but part of me is hoping this means they are going to widen their classic kits line to include aircraft.  Such as the Rotodyne.
Someone over at Britmodeller saw a product code for it with the A suffix denoting a reissue. Maybe it'll be the flagship of Airfix Classics' aircraft released next year?
I find it very hard to believe Academy would make a mistake like that he said sarcastically...

Obviously the Rotodyne would be the flagship, but yes that would be good.

Purely from a nostalgia point of view I'd like them to release some of the old historical figures - were they 12th scale - I for one would buy a couple. Maybe even the 54mm figure range ? Although you can quite often pick up the more common of the later at shows.

Obviously.............  ;D
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I knew little about the figure line until KitStarter, when I started to see all these weird and wonderful suggestions for what should be available. I'd quite like a few of them. Likewise some of the birds. I'd like to try large figures.

I use either Spiderman or Super Mario Brothers lunch bag for work.

I built a few of mounted 54mm figures as a child.  I'd like to get them again so I can whiff them by adding more modern weapons.  The Indian Lancer with an AK-47 for example.

The Bengal Lancer was one of the really good ones. I've seen a display at a show where a guy had painted a fair few up as the various units of lancers that served in Indian Army under the Raj. Surprising how many units there were. He'd also done one in WWI khaki.

No partition and based in the NW Frontier on the border with
Afghanistan?

One of these years I'm going to have a go at a MiniArt 120mm Roman Legionary, updated to the 1960s with a Berretta SMG and a radio...

Did you know that the Indian Army still operates one of the last active horse cavalry units in the world? On border patrol no less.

A Roman legionary with submachine guns and tanks? Jesus Christ Superstar!

In certain parts of the world a sensible solution to patrolling the border.
