2019 Halifax Show

Due to circumstances beyond the control of the show organisers, the Huddersfield show has been forced to look for an new venue to host their annual show. Therefore our new home will be the North Bridge Leisure Centre, North Bridge Street, Halifax HX3 6TE. Taking place on Sunday 10th February 2019. Admission will be: Adults £4, concessions and IPMS members £3.

From what I've been told, the Huddersfield council decided they didn't want the show because it wasn't family friendly enough.  Make of that what you will.

The new gaff any cheaper?  The new place in 'uddersfield were costing your club a small fortune.

My sources tell me that the Huddersfield venue increased its charges by £850 between 2018 and 2019.

Steve mentioned still staying in Huddersfield as we know the pubs and curry houses 

I have been to Halifax once or twice, but haven't got any real memories of the place other than the Piece Hall, and yes  it is spelt that way  Thrash it out at Telford ?

Today my boss said he would accept holiday requests for 2019 so I'm putting in for these dates.

I plan to stay in the same place in Huddersfield (Cambridge Hotel) unless people have other ideas. It's only 30 minutes by car and we can share.

Weather permitting I might try and get to this one. It should be nice and fresh going over the tops on the bike in February
