Crikey, it feels like an age since I last posted on here! Family life has a habit of getting in the way of the more important things!  ;D

Anyway, please find my slightly modded Airfix P-51D, it's from the older 1/72 offering. Paint scheme was based on the old Le Mans Gulf Porsche 917 colours.
All decals are made by me and were printed using a laser printer. Hope you like it!

That is really great! especially like the colors and the belly radiator deletion! Nice job.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Awesome job there, LOVE the Gulf colour scheme!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Good model!
Could you photograph it as a profile? (for me to enrich my collection of Mustang profiles, thanks!)

The British have raised their security level from "Miffed" to "Peeved". Soon though, security levels may be raised yet again to "Irritated" or even "A Bit Cross". Londoners have not been "A Bit Cross" since the Blitz in 1940 when tea supplies ran out for three weeks

Well, even without source photograph, I may try by myself:

Mine doesn't have the belly intake though Tophe! I've lost my other pics I had of the model, gawd knows where they've gone to.
