On again gang !

http://www.modelexpo.com.au/

Sadly the imagineering class has been dropped which is a whiffing shame but plenty of room in other classes to get a few WTF's from the unknowing.

#1
Philistines.

Although I prefer to enter my whiffs into the "normal" classes anyway.

I'll be there all day Monday as usual.  Although the Model Car Club doesn't have a table this year because of apathy.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I shall be there, but I don't think I will be entering anything. A combination of moving to distant lands and owning scale reference cat means spending whole long weekends in town doesn't really work anymore alas...
I shall ponder things.
And possibly enter the wargames categories.
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

zenrat

I'm going to be having a busy weekend as it is also Comic Con.

Been.
Saw Buzzbomb and Comrade Harps and I know Sykotik was there as I saw his Dragonfly.
I'm going through my pics preparing them for publication and will post some, and a link to the rest, up here when they are done.

This was at the back of the table behind a big space shuttle standing up in a picture frame.  Shame as it is excellent.

Took me a moment to work out why this was in Sci Fi.

This should have won IMO.

I photographed most of the racing planes as inspiration for the Racing GB to come.

Trumpeter 1/72 LCAC.  Not a whiff but it has so much potential to be one.  I really need to get one of these.

The rest of my pictures are here.  Enjoy.

For those of you who like such things I have uploaded three pics of the civil airliners class in their original size.  I had originally intended to photograph each one individually for you but ran out of time.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I've got one of those, and a 1/144 one as well, no idea why though. The 1/72 box is GINORMOUS!  :o

That racing Hornet really looks the business!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

Mr Modest Zenrat appears not to have mentioned his significant placing in one of the classes.

Well done Fred on the 1st in Sci Fi Vehs.
