Second that, looks very natural.

Definitely third that, looks very good.  These old Heller kits are just pretty nice, and you did a great job with her.

Best regards,

Excellent job, and one that just looks right.

Noice.

The "woodpecker" is Mr Horsepower, the mascot of Clay Smith Cams.  It is not Woody Woodpecker.  It's fitting using it on there.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Moon Eyes would have been particularly appropriate given the company is now Japanese owned.
Some Woody kits come with surfing decals.  Now what could we use those on?

That's very pretty, totally believable and would probably fool most people who aren't intimately familiar with JASDF history.

Who are you and what have you done with the real Dork? ;)

A Convair Sea Dart, or something using the same system, would seem most appropriate....

Been thinking about this.  How about a Skyvan Woody?

With a surfboard strapped on top of the fuselage?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
