Don't have a fancy spray booth, and keeping dust off was a problem. Not any more, and the solution only cost me $3.05 after tax. Went to Sail, a large outdoor supply store here in Canada, and picked up a food cover made for camping by Coghlan's. Works great!

That's a good idea, I used to use something like that before I got my spray booth, not that I spray much in it, but it does keep the dust off.  ;D

Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I initially looked in various kitchen accessory stores, but they all said that theirs were seasonal items that wouldn't be in stock until spring. I could order them on-line for anywhere between $10 and $14, but Sail had them at $2.69 plus tax. Bargain, I'd say. The ones from kitchen stores were probably made by Gucci or Armani or something.  ;D

Seriously if I bought one of those I get a fly or whatever trapped inside with the drying model  :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Handy!!!  Great idea.

Sometimes I stick things I just sprayed into the upper, closing portion of my desk here, sometimes I hang it from the chandelier and hope for the best.  ;D

In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

They're also great for eating outside.

So, then, how do they taste?

Plastic-y.  You need plenty of hot sauce to make them palatable

I guess it would keep the cat hairs off, but scale reference cat always sees any new item brought into the house as an exciting new challenge, so he would just go to sleep on it and shed lavishly all over the outside, probably crushing the model...
