Wow.  Thanks LO.
I ducked a couple of times.

The slowed down landings are fascinating.  Go to 11:30 to see a bouncing Firefly lose both wing tanks.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

In today's angled deck era you tend to forget that there was no such thing as a 'bolter' back then.

You either caught the wire or went into the barrier.  :o :o :o

I think it's a blooper reel. ;)

The number of tail wheels that broke off is ridiculous! :o

Then there was the Firefly that broke its back. :o

I hope so !!  ;)

Dad served on both escort and fleet carriers during the war and very seldom mentioned crashes. When latter in life, and I'd seen a lot of film footage, I asked why he simply said that it was so commonplace it didn't really stick in the mind that much  :o The one landing he always remembered was the Swordfish that had to be grabbed by the deck crew as it was hovering in the head wind above the deck  ;D
