hi all, my 'SOD' range has been infrequently available over the past years (no real excuse other than I am usually too busy with work etc. to cast the pieces as required)

having chatted with some modelling colleagues at Telford, I have decided to relaunch the Hawker P.1128 (the famed 'huntsman') which should be available early in the new year

another model I have been working on for production is a vacuform and resin BAC. Mustard. this will consist of 2 vacuform structure halves with resin fins and engines
initially I am concentrating on the final and main version of the design (as illustrated in Dan's excellent BSP.5 volume) I may succumb later and produce the reconnaissance version also with its linear mounted engines

I have a very limited batch of AW. Pyramid vehicles available also (I wasn't going to mould this one as it is a simple enough shape to scratchbuild with some sanded styrene for the fins !) which will be followed by the RAE. OR.9001 'space fighter' (X20 Dynasoar lookalike) in resin :)

I have as yet to work out resin costs for the above models but will post here when I do so

cheers, Joe

What's an RAE OR.9001 please?

Googling it just give you loads of data on ISO 9001, hardly what I'm looking for.  :banghead:

Please, how much will the Hawker P.1128 (the famed 'huntsman') cost?

hiyas, re the Hawker P.1128 conversion, I will add a note on the forum when I have some in stock for distribution as yet the moulds are made but not poured any resin as yet, likewise the forthcoming 'AW. Pyramid', 'RAE. space interceptor' and 'BAC. Mustard'

if there is demand I will dig out the vacuform plugs for the EE. passenger Canberra, again something different :)

cheers, Joe

I'm definitely interested in the Mustard Joe.  I'll have a think on the Pyramid and Space Interceptor when you worked out the costs.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I'm interested in the P.1128, Joe

Hasn't OGL built one of them? It appears at our Shows every now and then, and looks decidedly different, I think it's an RAF one.

One in BOAC markings would look good.  ;) ;D

Gondor

I'm wondering if the P.1128 I have in the stash is old enough for the Old Kit GB?

To be honest the transport Canberra is fat and ugly, not like Martin's proposed transport version of the B-57.

Here is the Canberra on the SIG stand at the 2012 Newcastle show.

Ah, I always thought that OGL's model WAS the Transport Canberra, and it's not all that pretty anyway, it looks like a bit like a jet Valetta.

How was the real proposal even fatter and uglier???

Certainly looks like it from the drawing that is on the Secret Projects forum
