I went looking for books in a local charity shop and found "The largest and heaviest bomber to see service in World War Two".

Airfix B-29 Superfortress with rotating bomb bay  :o. It's clearly sat in a loft for 40 years, opened but otherwise pristine. Cheap!

That's a very unique aircraft then as all the B-29's that I know of had a non rotating bomb bay

Well there's something odd going on with the bomb bay from looking at the instructions! I've never seen a kit with so many bombs either!

From Germany, bought online from Der Sockelshop, Hasegawa's 1/48 F-16E! This kit will generously donate it's E bits to a Tamiya F-16CJ Block50 Kit. It took me quite a while to find this kit at a reasonable price, and it was cheaper than the Kinetic F-16E...
Also, from the UK, bought from Story Models.com, a Quickboost 1/48 ACES II ejection seat.

Broke my "no overseas sellers" rule and hit up Evil-Bay Japan for a 1/72 Bandai Y-Wing.
It arrived today and it is exquisite.  Exactly what I have come to expect from Bandai.

I wonder if anyone ever built a Y wing with wings...

From ebay

1 x 1/72 Airfix Av-8A which will join the other two I have as real world builds seeing that I have the decals for a Thai machine  ;D

Also received today from Thorvic a very over the top delivery of Airfix 1/600 warships.

I was only after the Falklands Warship set but was sent in total the following

1 x 1/600 Falklands Warship set
1 x 1/600 HMS Victorious
1 x 1/600 HMS Tiger & HMS Daring
2 x 1/600 HMS Leander
2 x 1/600 HMS Amazon

I am blown away by his generosity which was totally uncalled for  I am now going to have to think of what to do with some of the items though as I now have two aircraft carriers I could simply do one out of the box and update the other one.... or something like that.

From Colin at Freightdog;  Tallboy conversion kit for the Airfix Lancaster (will it fit the Revell one?)

Don't see why not, it fits a TSR2.  ;D
Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

Nothing odd, the kit has the forward and mid-fuselage pressure bulkheads and the pressurized tunnel used to move
between the pressurized sections of the aircraft.

Inside the tunnel:

And we, till now unmatched in ill,
Must leave successors more corrupted still."

1/144 Roden Bristol Brittania, Monarch Airlines. Looks quite nice, haven't done a clip and fit on parts yet.

1/48 Revell Stearman Aerobatic Biplane, second release of their brilliant Model 75/PT-13,-17
kit, with a new sprue containing Super Stearman bits, bigger engine, full cowling, spatted
landing gear.
