Hey !

Here's the latest.......Sea King Mk.6CL !

I've added the aft and nose radomes, from two different 72nd scale rockets, as well as the sponson struts and FOD from leftover PE bits. The AAR probe is from a Mirage Hobbies Russian Tarantul kit, in 400th scale.

She's seen here perched on the back of HMCS Mic M'aq, along with two other birds in the hangar.

Mmmmm.......did I mention that I love Trumpeter ?

Hey Captain......

What did you use for the nose/search radar on that Sea King???

I just picked up a CH-46D Sea Knight, which I plan on turning into a Lab, but need something to scratchbuild the nose with. And your nose looks perfect...lol....the one on the Sea King that is!!!
Thanks

Yeah, just try chopping something round up, and glueing it on !

There's an article somewhere, on doing one up in 72nd scale. ipms toronto's site, I think.

On these two RCN birds, circa the Malvinas 1982, I used the nose radomes that come in the UH-1D kits.

Cheers !
