Captain Canada

Hey !

Let the invasions begin !

The fleet is arming up !

The first Westland Canada Sea King Mk.6C is undergoing trials aboard HMCS Ketch Harbour, one of our new Patrol Class carriers.

This was just a quick bash-up tonite, whilst watching 'the Commitments'.........boooooring ! I used my little 1 haired Testors brush. The clear fuselage is awesome, makes painting very easy. Also, good ol' Tamiya clear green really makes 'er look good !

For the next one, I'm going to make a wee FOD and sponson support from some leftover brass bits.

Sea Kings Rule !

And did I mention that I love Trumpeter ?

How many do you get in the box?

Sales of Airfix kits plummeted in the 1980s, and GCSEs had to be made easier as a result - James May

There are 6 airplanes to a box.

Cpt. Canada: how does the clear fuselage make painting easier? I'd expect it to be more difficult: you've got no separate canopy you can add after painting the rest, so more chance of paint ending up on parts that need to remain clear.

Good grief Toad!

I love it brother!!!!

I brush painted this little bird. I think it's easier, as you can just follow the lines !

And if I tried to glue a little canopy like that..........
