I originally stumbled over part of this page last week while I was looking for info about the original A-X program candidates.  It's 100% in some language I don't read, but there are lots of interesting images, including photos and line art.  Some of the stuff here I'd seen before elsewhere, but there're a few things I've never seen (maybe I'm just sheltered ;) ).

Yeah, that "communications aircraft" iis a nice one.  The proposed "communications aircraft" variant of the F-106 would look good sitting next to it, perhaps with both in the color schemes of their HoS aircraft.

Not immediately available.  Basically, the weapons bay was replaced by an avionics bay under the pilot and the space behind the pilot was converted to passenger space.  It was written up in an issue of APR, V3N2, which I do not currently have available to hand.  The data is shown roughly in this scan from Scott's site of the first eight pages of the issue:
