This is a little project I've been working on, for a couple of years. Scaled at 1/35 and having to buy two Dragon M4 A3 E8's and also two sets of HVSS track assembly. The body is card over a wooden basic frame with Sherman parts dotted here and there. I know there is a resin model of this beast, but scratching it seemed more fun. Seeing only 2 were ever built, (and neither exist any more) I've decided to do mine as a production model, ETO, 1946 "Tiger Killer" (that's a joke!)

You built it out of card and wood?  I'd never have guessed, looking at that photo.  What sort of cannon was supposed to have armed that beast?

Aye Carumba!  :o

Look at that beast, she's a gun on wheels!

Amazing - now how about a "Tortoise" ?

The gun was a 105mm T5E1 High Velocity weapon
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

:D  looking fantastic Glenn, but where are the outer track units?

found out the other day that someone does a white metal T28 in 1/72 or 1/76, and as I'm dumping 1/35 armour for small scale stuff so I might well get round to building one eventually (must get a Cromwell Tortoise too...  :D  )

Glenn

I haven't got around to the outer tracks, as you can see from the photo, I haven't added the inner tracks yet! But, when it's finished, yes, a Tortoise is on the cards.
It wasn't much of a tank, more a Stug, but if they had got into production, one look at them would have frightened the Krauts!

Looks fantastic!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to see it finished!
