I've nearly finished the ship for it, and want to replicate the plane aboard now.

Thanks!

I think I posted some shots that I found on the net earlier this year but I don't think I've got the originals anymore :(

Let me have a look on my PC

That's the one!  :D Thank you, F-32! I liked it so much I built it a ship! The one photo will do, since the replica is 1/700. :)

Now I'm just waiting for some parts from WEM, then have to decide if the ship will have just one mid-ship crane so I don't have to buy a whole sprue from Tamiya just for one missing piece.  :(

Hey, now we're in the same 'boat' !

God bless WEM, but.........

And I think my Sea Lysander would be a better a/c, mind you, a bit harder to model in 700th !

Looking forward to the finished project !

Sea Lysander, eh?    Well, there is the other catapult, still under construction.

Lessee, search their sites...
WEM does not make in 1/700.
Don't see one in Skywave's list.  :(

Maybe I can scratch one up out of pieces of other aircraft.

Even if I can't add it to my model, I'm looking forward to seeing your model!

Sounds good !

I've got the Centaurus from a Matchbox Tempest, the hull from an Airfix 'Duck', and the Airfix Lizzie.....I hope to bash it all together soon.

Pardon me saying so, but that Sea Lysander is heck on the eyes.  It looks like it would make for a neat model.  I can't imagine that the boat hull would add much to the Lizzie's performance.  I'm anxious to read your backstory.

Huh?  I don't remember typing anything that would've triggered a "swear filter".

I think I originally typed the stronger word for "heck".  Now that cleared the filter.

Over on the Starship Modeler forum, there is a filter that changes really strong language to the word *SMEG*.  Most common words get through, as it's just intended to filter the stronger four-letter words.  When it was first introduced, one would see *SMEG* in lots of posts, then people started typing "SMEG" in place of various swear words, then it just went away, as people learned to do without.

well , it might look weird to bring this forward  , but I am yet to see a Corsair that I don't like ; the photo here makes it even harder.
