Here we go then there are very few new Whifs, and lots of Sci-Fi, and a few interesting ones.

The SIG Stand with OGL in contemplative mood.

A few models on the stand that I had not seen before.

Part of the USAF SIG stand.

ive said it before, and ill say it again.

I need A Diet!
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

and that was the more flattering of the two shots
The other had to be destroyed

More of the gratuitous boobs please..........  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Great pics JayBee, thanks for posting them. I ,too, would like more gratuitous boobs! Also more Airships and a quick question. Are all of us Whif modellers....er how can I put this.... over weight with glasses! I know I definitely am (too many Twiglets)!

Oh no you don't!

Think of it in Biblical terms; remember the seven lean years  in Egypt....you never know when famine might strike..... regard this shape as a sensible precaution!

Alternatively, global warming/climate change might lead to higher wind speeds in the UK........at least people like you (and me)  are properly ballasted to take account of this.

And I'd like to see more of the airships and read their backstories.........

The  petite (but gorgeous) student daughter of a friend of mine commented on  mammary magnificence similar to that shown above  " It must have been a major impact....both the front airbags have inflated..........."
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

thanks for the pics - its good to keep abreast of these competitions and their entries

I am disappointed.  You showed the legs but not the top of what I can only guess was a Martian tripod.

I am delighted.  The Airships are wonderful. The bright B-57 is lovely.

Sorry for the lack of the photo of the tripod. It was an impressive model, the more so as it was made from card!

The smaller airships were all made from polistyrene foam (white).

Thanks for posting them Jim. You are a very naughty boy for putting that F.107 on the USAF SIG stand  ;D

I was talking to the guy re the small airships et al, and apparently they are used in wargames
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

JayBee

Hi Chris,

I was led astray by someone(s) but I am glad you did not spot the Martin Mauler behind it

Also I suspected the airships were from a war gaming background. Brilliant models none the less.

I had a great time at the show.

Next stop Glasgow, which for me this year will have a very special importance. It is my last day of gainfull employment!
On that day I will have given 44 full years to Air Traffic Control and I am getting the He11 out
